OASIS ® BAMBOO HIDEY-HOLES are natural bamboo tubes that appeal to hamsters, dwarf hamsters, gerbils, mice and rats...yet they do not chew on them due to bamboo's naturally repellant taste (only pandas and bamboo rats eat bamboo!) Each Hidey-Hole has two large round holes in the sides, creating a fun crawl-tunnel. Pets like them so much that they even set up their sleeping nest inside the tube. Great for climbing when more than one Hidey-Hole is placed in the pet's cage allowing one to rest at an angle. Versatile and easy to fit into your pet's home. Periodically rearrange Hidey-Holes used for excercise to allow your pets to explore new combinations of multiple Hidey-Hole arrangements and reduce boredom.

Hidey-Holes are also suitable as a hiding place in terrariums for reptiles and amphibians... especially small delicate specimens and babies. Hidey-Holes create the effect of fallen hollowed out logs that helps give the environment a natural feel, helping to eliminate stress in sensitive pets.
Larger diameter Hidey-Hole tubes can also be used as a hiding place or nesting site for small ground birds such as button quail...simply place them around the perimeter of the cage floor where the birds want to roost. Small baby finches just leaving the nest are often unable to fly back up to perches, and can use the Hidey-Holes as a secure place to gain strength while learning to feed themselves.

Hidey-Hole tubes are approximately 2.1/2" or more in diameter (diameters vary, no two are exactly alike), and come in three lengths - 6", 8" and 10".
